Liz Markus

Liz Markus is the co-owner of RL Counseling Group and helps lead the operational and financial side of the practice. With a background in human resources and billing, she works behind the scenes to make sure the practice runs smoothly so clinicians can focus on providing quality care to their clients. She values creating a supportive and well-organized environment for both staff and the community the practice serves.

Outside of work, Liz loves to travel and enjoys relaxing by the pool with her kids. She is also active in the recovery community and has been sober since 2014. She enjoys spending time with her wife, Rachel, their children, and their dog, Bella.

Fun Facts:

• She spends approximately 38 hours of her 40 hour work week on FaceTime.

• She played the flute, piccolo, tenor sax, cymbals and base drum in her high school marching band.

• She spent her childhood fishing and crabbing on the weekends.
