Payment for Services
Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept approved payment methods as outlined in our intake documentation.
No Refunds for Services Rendered
Because counseling services are professional services that are provided at the time of your appointment, we do not offer refunds for completed sessions.
Billing Errors
In the event of a verified billing or administrative error (such as duplicate charges or incorrect payment amounts), RL Counseling Group will promptly review the issue and issue a refund if appropriate.
If you have questions about a charge, please contact our office as soon as possible so we can review your account.
Cancellation Policy:
When you and your clinician agree on a scheduled time, we will reserve that time slot for you and will not be able to offer it to another individual. At least twenty-four (24) hours of confirmed notification is required for canceling appointments. All Monday appointments must be canceled by Friday. If applicable (self-pay clients), a missed appointment fee of $75 will be charged for sessions not canceled within 24 hours. If the missed session is an intake, the full fee of $200 for therapy intakes and $225 for psychiatric intakes will need to be paid before the intake can be re-scheduled. Should you miss two consecutive appointments, we will assume that you no longer wish to receive services with us, and we may discharge you from our care.
Every effort will be made to accommodate emergency or crisis situations and the need for appointment changes. However, you may need to check with us daily for cancellations if no appointments are available immediately. Likewise, we cannot guarantee immediate rescheduling of missed appointments.
